My Cup of Tea

My background on tea drinking:
Being brought up in a Chinese family, drinking tea is more of a usual thing more often when eating in a tea house and eating dimsums. Though I didn't notice it at first, I came to like drinking strong bitter tea flavors, because most tea that were served in tea house had very strong and distinct taste like black tea, oolong tea and etc.

I got used it the strong flavors and bitterness of the tea. The more bitter it is, the more I like it. But recently, I'm more obsessed with tea, due to the fact that I can't drink coffee anymore because of my very acidic stomach huhu... *crying inside*.

Never the less, whenever I see a shop that sells different favored teas and in a very cute packaging (must be eye catching!) I confess that I always make it a point to buy at least 1 box. Certified Teaholic! I also make it a point to try various tea flavors for variation and also to really know what tea that I really like to drink.

Now here come Clipper, a UK based company with a very eye catching packaging. I have also browsed their website; and I super love it! I love their packaging design, website (very interactive and creative website) and most importantly their very artistic and cool office (saw it through their website). Their products are not only teas but they also have a variety of hot chocolate and coffee. Yummy!

The flavor of Clipper is very strong and thick in consistency, which that's how I want my tea- strong and thick taste. You can even repeated use it for maybe 4-6 mugs of hot water before the tea leaves would be more subtle.

The good news is that the Clipper Tea is already in the market here in the Philippines. I first bought the Chamomile Tea at a British Fair at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, while the Green Tea, I just bought it at Walter Mart with the same price Php315 each. Though their tea box for 20 sachets per box price ranges from Php 315.00 to Php 325.00 or higher.
